Our camper, we are unhooked and ready for the week, only stayed two nights and three days but really enjoyed ourselves.
You can see Mark and Sandra's RV in the back ground, a 42' 5th wheel towed with a big truck. :)
In the picture you see Sandra with a little cart to tote whatever; Mark is standing with a load of wood so we can have a fire tonight to roast a hotdog or marshmellow and oh yes to keep warm as it gets cold after the sun goes down. Arlo (Grandpa to a lot of you) is sitting in his chair straw bossing. :)
Something to do, play dominos (Train) you can see grandpa is really studying the tiles. :)
Too cold and it is toward evening so he is very glad I put his coat in with the hood on it. :) we built a fire soon after this picture was taken.
A good fire always has a cheerful look and invites you to get close.
On Saturday Sandra and I took a walk on the Bird Track Interpretive Train, Sandra is standing by the sign that showed us the trail. Will put several pictures of our walk next.
Someone put rocks on the fence posts and Sandra is examining they to see what she can tell from them, she is into rocks having studied geology in college.
Here I just liked the looks of these dead trees that were just left in nature for the habitat that can make use of them.

The river is the Grand Rounde River and as you can see it is quite low but if you look at the banks you can see in the spring it flows pretty high and fast. In August it is good swimming at the bridge where we held the family reunion at Hilgard Park just 5 and 1/2 miles from where I am sitting on this bench. :) Had to fix my sock it was sliding down my heel and causing me to not like the feel. :)
We enjoyed our walk, didn't go back the same way, went on up the river then cut across to the highway and then to the camp site. Really would like to go back again before winter sets in but don't know if it will happen. This campground has no water, electricity or sewer hookups so if we just had a tent it would be really roughing it. :) They do have toilets on two for the entire campground so that is why I really like taking our own camper, you have your own little house while there but get to experience being outside, to eat and enjoy the warmth of a campfire.
