WOW ! What a great Thanksgiving. All our children were here with Sandra's five plus sposes and grandchildren. Heather, Ryan and David, from Spokane Washington; Melissa, Michael and Isaac, from Portland Oregon; Everett and Jennifer (who will be parents come June or July) from Sandy Utah; Jacob from Missoula Montana; Jessica from Provo Utah. Cynthia and son Dumenico, who this was his first Thanksgiving with us in eleven years, he had been in Peru going to school. They came from Portland Oregon. Greg was here from Silverton Oregon, then Sandra and Mark from La Grande Oregon. It wasn't just a day thing we were all together from Wednesday to Saturday. A lot of time spent in the kitchen cooking and doing the sinks of dishes. Way to much food but one blessing of that was we didn't have to cook on Friday or Saturday except for special breakfasts. Ryan, Heather and David prepared Pumpkin pancakes on Friday (very good!), then on Saturday we had Bacon, eggs, oatmeal, cream of wheat, toast, milk and orange juice, really like oven fried bacon! Friday some of the kids went target shooting, Cynthia and Dumenico and Greg had to go home. :( Saturday found everyone else leaving some earlier then others. Jacob didn't leave until Sunday morning.
I have come to the conclusion that I am getting old! I had to take a nap on Friday afternoon while most were gone shooting. :)
